Students can check allotment status and edit application details, school choices and preferences till June 10, 5 pm; over 72,000 seats remain vacant statewide

The Directorate of General Education (DGE), Kerala, has published the Higher Secondary Centralised Admission Process (HSCAP) Plus One Trial Allotment result today, June 8. Students who had appeared for the exam through the Single Window System (SWS) can now check their Kerala HSCAP +1 trial allotment 2026 result at hscap.kerala.gov.in.
As of now, the HSCAP Kerala +1 results have been announced, and students can see a preview of their possible allotment before the final process begins. The authorities have also opened a short editing window for students.
During this time, students can correct mistakes in their personal details, add new schools or courses, or change their preferences based on the trial result. The last date to check the result and make changes is June 10, 2026, at 5 pm.

According to the Kerala Plus One trial allotment data, Kerala received a total of 4,43,984 applications for Plus One admission this year. This includes 43,622 students who applied for seats outside their home districts. Out of 3,17,016 available seats, 2,44,796 students have been allotted seats, while 72,220 seats are still vacant for the next rounds of allotment.
The officials have said that this is not the final merit list but a provisional list. It is meant to help students understand which school and course combination they are likely to get based on the options they have chosen and their academic details.

The category-wise data shows that almost all General category seats are filled. Out of 1,56,055 seats, 1,55,999 have been allotted, leaving only 56 seats vacant across the state. In the Ezhava, Thiyya, Billava (ETB) category, 14,835 students have been allotted seats out of 15,170. In the Muslim category, 13,581 students have been allotted seats out of 13,912 seats.
In the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 31,026 students have been allotted seats out of 46,240 available seats, leaving 15,214 seats vacant. In the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 3,828 students have been allotted seats out of 30,988 seats, with 27,160 seats still vacant. In the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, 7,995 students have been allotted seats out of 19,758 seats.
