HSSC CET Group D 2026 registration begins tomorrow; eligibility, exam pattern

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D notification 2026 today, June 18, 2026 on the official website of HSSC at hssc.gov.in. As per the official notice, the registration process for the HSSC CET Group D will start from tomorrow, June 19, 2026 and will end on July 3, 2026.

Candidates can complete the application fee payment process until July 6, 2026. Following the closure of the payment window, the authorities will provide an application correction facility from July 7 to July 9, 2026, allowing applicants to edit details submitted in their forms.

The commission will announce the detailed vacancy breakup, including post-wise and category-wise allocations, on its official website at a later stage. The total number of vacancies is yet to be finalised. Selection and shortlisting of candidates will be carried out on the basis of this single eligibility examination.

HSSC Group D Recruitment 2026: Steps to apply

To register for the HSSC Group D Recruitment 2026, applicants must follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official one time registration portal at onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in
  • Register yourself if you are applying for the first time
  • Sign in using your Registration Number and password
  • Enter your personal, academic and other required details
  • Upload the necessary documents along with your photograph and signature
  • Review all the information carefully before proceeding
  • Complete the application fee payment through the online payment gateway
  • Submit the application form and save a copy for future reference

HSSC Group D Recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for this recruitment are as follows:

Educational qualifications: Applicants should have cleared Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board. They are also required to have studied either Hindi or Sanskrit at the matriculation level. However, this language requirement has been exempted for certain posts, including Sweeper and Chowkidar.

Age limit: Candidates applying for the recruitment process must be at least 18 years old and not more than 42 years of age on the last date of application submission. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available for eligible reserved category candidates in accordance with Haryana Government regulations.

Exam pattern

The examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), carrying a total of 100 marks. Candidates will be allotted 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the test. To qualify, candidates from the General category must secure at least 50 per cent marks, while those belonging to reserved categories, including both vertical and horizontal reservations, are required to obtain a minimum of 40 per cent marks.
