HSSC Group D 2018 exam begins; check more details here

New Delhi, November 10: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is conducting HSSC Group D 2018 exam from November 10 to recruit candidates for 116 posts. The exam is being conducted offline on November 10, 11, 17 and 18 in two sessions – morning and afternoon. HSSC Group D 2018 is being held in exam centres available across various cities of Haryana.
The details of exam timings and venue are provided in the admit card of HSSC Group D 2018. The admit card of candidates whose exams are being conducted on November 10 and 11 have been issued on November 2. While candidates whose exams are scheduled to be held on November 17 and 18 were able to download the hall ticket from November 7.
Candidates must carry any one identity proof - Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Driving license, Voter card, identity card issued by Government/University/College/Institute along with the admit card on the day of examination.
HSSC Group D written test comprises 90 marks and time allotted to complete the test is 1 hour 30 minutes. For the recruitment process, extra 10 marks are reserved for Socio-Economic criteria and experience. Therefore, total marks of the exam are 100.The written exam comprises two parts – I and II. In Part I, questions are asked from General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, English and Hindi while Part II contains question pertaining to History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment and Culture of Haryana.
Haryana SSC will release the official answer key of HSSC Group D 2018 for all sets within a few days after the conclusion of the exam. The answer key will be published online in the form of a pdf file containing the correct answers to questions asked in the exam. HSSC Group D answer key will provide set-wise correct options against each question number. Additionally, coaching institutes may also release unofficial answer key after the exam gets over.
The result of HSSC Group D 2018 is scheduled to be declared in the first week of December 2018. Based on the result of the written test and marks obtained as per Socio-Economic criteria and experience, candidates will be recruited to the applied posts.
HSSC Group D is being held for recruitment of candidates to 116 posts under Group D services. Haryana Staff Selection Commission has announced total 18,218 vacancies under Group D to be filled on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written exam and marks secured as per Socio-Economic criteria and experience.
