HTET 2021: Check court hearing details for candidates booked under UMC

NEW DELHI: The examination commissioner states, Haryana has released a public notice to inform those candidates who are booked under UMC during HTET 2021 exam conducted on December 18 and 19, 2021. Cases were registered against those candidates who used unfair means during the HTET 2021 test at the exam centre by the Board of School Education, Haryana. These candidates were booked under the UMC case on the basis of CCTV live footage of the exam period. The booked candidates are also informed through SMS to appear for a personal hearing at 9:30 in the morning on January 20, 2022 at BSEH headquarters- Bhiwani, Haryana.

The list of candidates, booked under UMC for using unfair means during the exam, is uploaded at the official website of the Board of School Education, Haryana - bseh.org.in. These candidates were found guilty of using unfair means i.e. committing malpractices during the HTET 2021 exam at their test centre in December 2021. A total of 64 candidates were booked under this case of using unfair means against the rule of the HTET exam and guidelines already provided to the appearing candidates.

HTET exam 2021: Unfair means case (UMC)

The HTET 2021 exam unfair means practices are those malpractices which are prohibited during the exam such as seeking help from another candidate, or anyone else. If candidates are found possessing materials to copy, talking in the exam hall or misconduct of any type or disobedience of instructions given by the exam centre officials, they can be booked under unfair means case (UMC) by the exam conducting board.

HTET 2021 exam: Appeal against UMC

The candidates who are booked under unfair means case (UMC) for the malpractices during the HTET exam 2021 conducted in December 2021 can appeal to authority. If any candidate feels that he or she is booked unfairly under UMC can appeal to the secretary of the BSEH. The secretary shall put the appeal before the standing committee for revision of decision if they feel the case to be genuine and the candidate will be informed about it.
