NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued the official notification to recruit unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the selection of Agniveer Vayu under the Agnipath scheme. Eligible candidates will be able to register for IAF Agniveervayu from July 8 through the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

As per the official notice, the last date to fill out the IAF Agniveer 2024 application form is July 28. The IAF Agniveer 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on October 18. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550 to register for the IAF Agniveer 2024.

IAF Agniveer 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for IAF Agniveer 2024 given below.

Age limit:

  • Candidates born between July 3, 2004 and January 3, 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

  • If a candidate clears all the stages of the selection procedure, the upper age limit on the date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Educational qualification

  • Candidates should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with mathematics, physics, and English from education boards recognised by the central, state, or union territory governments, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR

  • Candidates should have passed a three-year diploma course in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, automobile, computer science, instrumentation technology, or information technology) from a polytechnic institute recognized by the central, state, or union territory governments, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the diploma course (or in intermediate/matriculation, if English was not a subject in the diploma course) OR

  • Completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects such as physics and mathematics from education boards recognised by central, state, and union territories. achieved a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and obtained at least 50% marks in English in the vocational course. if English is not a subject in the vocational course, the requirement applies to the intermediate or matriculation level.
