Download EBookNew Delhi July 15,2019: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued IAS prelims result 2019 on July 12, 2019. There are 11,845 candidates have been shortlisted for civil services mains examination. This time a new Initiative has been taken by UPSC to avoid any discrepancy in selection of candidate in IAS prelims exam. UPSC has issued civil services 2019 prelims result with roll number and name of the successful candidates.

This is first time when UPSC has declared UPSC prelims result with name though it was being followed for civil service mains exam since long time. UPSC prelims result 2019 is given on official website of commission (www.upsc.gov.in). Civil services prelims result is displayed as per the order of the roll number of the candidates.
Aspirants who have qualified IAS prelims exam have to appear in Civil Services mains exam. IAS mains exam will be conducted from September 20 to 24,2019.
UPSC Civil services mains exam consists of nine papers where Paper A (Indian Languages) and Paper B (English) are qualifying in nature whereas there are seven compulsory papers. Total marks allotted to UPSC Civil Services mains exam is 1750. One important point to note here is that, candidates need to score a minimum of 25% marks in Paper A and B (qualifying papers) as well as compulsory papers.
