Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has commenced the registration process for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024. The registration process is underway and the deadline for submitting applications is May 13, 2024. Eligible candidates should fill out the IAT 2024 application form by visiting the official website, iiseradmission.in.
As per the official schedule, the IAT 2024 exam will be held on June 9. The institute will open the IAT 2024 application form correction window for two days from May 16 and 17. IISER will issue the IAT admit card 2024 on June 1. IAT 2024 results will be declared on June 25, 2024.
Candidates from the unreserved (UR), economically weaker sections (EWS), and other backward class (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 to register for the IAT 2024 exam. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST) and person with disabilities (PwD) categories should pay Rs 1,000.
The IISER conducts the IAT exam for candidates to get admission to the five-year bachelor of science and master of science (BS-MS) dual degree programme and four-year bachelor of science (BS) degree programs in IISERs at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati for the academic session of 2024-25.
The IAT 2024 paper will have four sections including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics carrying 60 questions each. Candidates will receive four marks for each right answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
