IB ACIO result 2024 out at mha.gov.in; tier 2 exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The ministry of home affairs has declared the Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II (IB ACIO) result 2024 for tier-I exam. Candidates who have appeared in the IB ACIO tier-I written exam can download the result by visiting the official website of MHA at mha.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 995 vacancies.

The IB ACIO tier 1 written exam 2024 was held on January 17 and 18. Candidates whose roll numbers are on the Tier-I selection list will be eligible to sit for the tier-II test. Candidates will be notified via email and SMS about the availability of admit cards for the tier-II test. The IB ACIO tier 2 admit cards 2024 will provide information such as the exam date, time, examination centre, and instructions.

IB ACIO 2024: Exam pattern

IB ACIO tier 2 exam is entirely descriptive in nature. The paper will consist of comprehension, precis, and essay writing. Candidates are usually required to write essays on given topics, comprehend passages, and demonstrate proficiency in English.The duration of IB ACIO tier 2 exam is 1 hour. The paper carries a total of 50 marks and there is no negative marking. Essay writing section carries 30 marks and comprehension, precis section is of 20 marks.

The IB ACIO tier III includes a personal interview which carries a total of 100 marks. Candidates are assessed based on their communication skills, personality traits, general awareness, knowledge about the job profile, and other relevant factors.
