NEW DELHI: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced the final result of IBPS PO 2019-20 in online mode on May 20. Along with the declaration of the PO result, the authorities have also announced the final result of IBPS Clerk and SO on their website. The IBPS PO and SO result has been announced on the basis of the combined marks secured by the candidates in both mains and interview while the result for Clerk is based on the mains marks. The last date to check the result is June 30.
To check the final IBPS PO and Clerk result 2019-20, candidates must use their registration/roll number and date of birth/ password. The final result contains the name, registration number, roll number, name of the exam, marks secured by the candidates and the qualifying status.
Candidates qualifying as per the final result will be recruited as per their respective post (Clerk/PO) at various banks on merit cum preference basis.

IBPS Clerk/SO Reserve List Announced
Along with the final result of Probationary Officers, Specialist Officers and Clerk, the authorities have also released the provisional reserved list for IBPS Clerk and IBPS SO in online mode on its official website. Candidates can download their IBPS Clerk result (reserve list) and IBPS SO result (reserve list) from May 19 to June 30, 2020. To download the result cum reserve list, candidates must use their registration/roll number and date of birth/password.
Through this reserve list, candidates as many as ten percent of the total vacancies under each category have been shortlisted, subject to allotment only if there are vacancies due to resignation or candidates not joining to their allotted posts. However, qualifying in this list will not guarantee the provisional allotment by the Participating Organisation.
The reserve list will be valid only till March 31, 2021 and would expire automatically on the prescribed date without any notice.
IBPS Clerk is conducted to shortlist the candidates in the Clerical cadre at 17 participatory organisations. The test is held in two stages - prelims and mains. However, IBPS SO is conducted in three stages - prelims, mains, and interview to shortlist the candidates for recruiting in the Specialist Officer cadre. Both the exams are held in the online mode.
IBPS Clerk mains exam was conducted on January 19, 2020 while the test for IBPS PO mains was held on November 30, 2019. The table below contains the details related to the exam dates.
