IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2025: Process for arriving at scores
IBPS informed that the scores of online prelims exam are obtained by adopting the following procedure:
- The number of questions answered correctly by the candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying a penalty for wrong answers.
- The corrected scores obtained by the candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in the difficulty level, if any, in each of the tests held in different sessions to arrive at the equated scores.
- Scores obtained by the candidate in any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
- Final scores in each test are rounded off up to two digits after the decimal point.
The total scores and cut-off on total scores have been arrived at by using the following formula:
Total online prelims exam score = Scores obtained in numerical ability + English language score + reasoning ability scores
