IBPS Clerk result 2018 for prelims announced on Jan 4; know how to check

Check NowNEW DELHI, JANUARY 4, 2019: Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has declared the IBPS Clerk prelims result 2018 on January 4. Candidates, who have appeared in the preliminary examination on December 8, 9, 15, and 16 can now check the result in online mode till January 11. In order to check the result of the prelims exam, candidates have to visit the official site ibps.in and click on the result link. After clicking on the result link, they have to enter the required credentials - registration/roll number and date of birth/password on the login window.
IBPS Clerk 2018 result carries name, roll number, registration number of the qualified. The scorecard of IBPS Clerk 2018 will be available after two to three days. The scorecard will reflect name, roll number, registration number, date of online preliminary exam, state applied for and subject-wise, category-wise and overall score of the candidates. Once the candidates get to know their marks/score in the prelims examination and their qualifying status, they have to further appear in the mains examination.
It must be noted that only those candidates will be eligible for appearing in mains exam who are able to secure the sectional and the overall cut off marks in the prelims examination. The qualifying marks for prelims exam would be different than the qualifying marks for the mains. Candidates have to secure the qualifying cut off marks every time at all the different stages to be considered for the subsequent stage of the recruitment.
IBPS Clerk 2018 mains examination will be held on January 20. Candidates who have qualified in the prelims examination have to, first download their admit cards for mains from the first week of January 2019. The candidates who qualify in the mains examination will be provisionally allotted by considering the marks of mains examination.
IBPS Clerk is conducted every year for recruiting clerical cadre across the participating Regional Rural Banks and the Public Sector Banks. The examination for the recruitment is held in two stages – prelims and mains. Candidates have to qualify in the two stages to be considered for the recruitment. This year, the examination authority has announced as many as 7275 vacancies.
