New Delhi, November 18: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is conducting IBPS PO 2018 mains exam in online mode on November 18, 2018, for the recruitment of Probationary Officers. The mains exam is being held across multiple exam centres in 72 cities in India. IBPS PO mains examination is being conducted for those candidates who have qualified in the prelims examination that was held on October 13, 14, 20, 21, 2018 in online mode.
Candidates who are appearing for the exam were required to carry their admit card of IBPS PO 2018 along with one of the photo identity proofs - Voter ID Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Employee ID and Bank Passbook with photograph. Without the admit card and photo ID proof, candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall.
After the exam, IBPS will not release any answer key of IBPS PO mains exam. However, the result of IBPS PO 2018 mains exam is expected to be declared in December. Candidates who will qualify the IBPS PO mains exam will have to appear for Interview that is likely to be conducted in January/February 2019 to be coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Qualified candidates have to secure more than or equal to the cutoff marks as prescribed by the examination authority.
Those candidates who will successfully qualify the Interview will be appointed in as Probationary Officer at 20 participating organisations of IBPS. This year, IBPS has announced as many as 4252 vacancies to be filled for the post of Probationary Officer across its various branches.
