IBPS SO 2019 Notification Released; Check Posts, Eligibility, Exam Dates

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 05: Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has released the notification of Specialist Officers (SO). The notification is released on the official website of ibps.in on November 05. According to the official notification, candidates can fill the application form from November 06 to 26, 2019. The online preliminary exam will be conducted on December 28 and 29 while the Mains exam will be conducted on January 25, 2020. The notification also mentions that the IBPS SO 2019 exam will be conducted in three phases - Preliminary, Main and Interview. Preliminary and Main will be in online mode. Candidates qualifying the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for the main and candidates qualifying the main will be called for the Common Interview which will be conducted by the participating organisations.
The exam conducting body has released 1163 vacancies and have also mentioned in the notification that the vacancies are indicative means it can change as per the requirements of the participating organisations. 17 organisations are participating in the recruitment drive to appoint Specialist Officers.

The minimum education qualification to participate in the examination is graduation while the age limit of the candidates should be between 20 to 30 years. The notification also mentioned that candidates can apply for only one post and multiple applications will be summarily rejected.

Candidates who successfully fill the online application form will get their admit card which will have the centre, venue address, post applied for, date and time for both Preliminary, Main and Interview. Although there will be separate admit card released for the three phases.
The call letter of preliminary exam will be released in December 2019, mains exam will be released in January 2020 and for the interview round it will be released in February 2020.
