IBPS SO Result 2018 For Mains Exam Declared; Know How To Check

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 6, 2019: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the result of mains exam of IBPS SO on February 6, 2019. Candidates, who have appeared in the mains examination on January 27 can now check the result in online mode till February 12, 2019. To check the result, candidates have to enter their login credentials - registration/roll number and password/date of birth in the login window. IBPS SO mains result can be checked on the official website - https://www.ibps.in.
IBPS SO 2018 result carries name, roll number, registration number of all the qualified candidates in the mains exam. The exam conducting body will soon release the scorecard and cut off marks of IBPS SO 2018 mains exam. The scorecard will reflect name, roll number, registration number, date of mains exam and subject-wise, category-wise and overall score of the candidates.
Candidates who have scored the minimum cut off marks as prescribed by the examination authority as per their category have only qualified for the next stage of recruitment process - personal interview. The interview is expected to be held in the last week of February, 2019 and the admit card for the interview will tentatively release in the third week of February in online mode. The admit card can be downloaded by using the login credentials. Those candidates who qualify in the interview round of IBPS SO 2018 will be given provisional allotment in April 2019.
IBPS SO exam is conducted in three phases - prelims, mains, and interview. The recruitment exam is held every year to recruit Specialist Officers (SO) in 6 different fields (I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Office, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer) across the participating Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).This year the examination authority has announced as many as 1599 vacancies.
