ICAI CA December 2021 concludes; Results to be declared soon

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) concluded the ICAI CA exams 2021 for the December session today, December 20, 2021. The exams for all three levels - CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final were conducted in pen-paper mode at various exam centres across the country and overseas. In view of COVID-19, the institute had released the CA exam day guidelines before the commencement of the exams.

CA Foundation exams were conducted on alternate dates from December 13 to December 19. Whereas the CA Intermediate and CA Final exams were conducted from December 5 to December 20, 2021, on different dates.

Candidates who filled the CA exam forms for the December session were only allowed to appear in the exam. ICAI released the admit cards for such candidates on November 19, 2021.

A plea seeking an opt-out option for symptomatic candidates was also filed in the Supreme Court seeking alternative arrangements. However, the Court refused to entertain the plea saying “we are not here to regulate everything”.

CA Results 2021

ICAI will release a notification on its official website about the release date of CA results for the December session. The results will be declared for all three levels of the CA examination. Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check their results online. Candidates will be able to check CA results 2021, pass percentage and toppers list on the official website - icai.org.

CA Registrations 2022

ICAI keeps the registration for CA exams open throughout the year. Candidates need to check the registration cutoff dates before filling the application form. The registration dates for each level varies.
