Check NowNEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will conduct the CA Foundation exam Paper 1 tomorrow, December 14, 2022, 2 pm onwards. The exam will be conducted in offline mode in the evening shift, at the designated exam centres in India and eight overseas centres. Earlier, the ICAI released the schedule for CA Foundation according to which the exams will be held in four sessions divided in four days. Candidates will have the option to opt either English or Hindi language for answering the questions.

ICAI CA Foundation marking scheme
As per the scheme of CA Foundation examination, there will be no negative marking in Paper 1 and Paper 2 which are subjective papers. However, a negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable in objective type Paper 3 and Paper 4.

ICAI CA Foundation December 2022 exam instructions

Candidates must carry a copy of CA Foundation admit card 2022 and a valid government issued ID card.

On the exam day, candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall upto 15 minutes from the commencement of exam.

Candidates will be allowed 15 minutes reading time before the scheduled commencement of the examination. Accordingly, the question paper will be distributed at 1:45 pm and the answer book at 2 pm.

Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall till conclusion of the exams. No early exit will be permitted even if the candidate has completed his paper.

Candidates will be required to submit the question paper along with the OMR answer sheet before leaving the examination hall.

Every candidate must sign the attendance sheets in the appropriate column against his/her roll number and name.

Candidates will not be allowed to carry books, written material, smart watches, mobile phones, or any other electronic gadgets inside the examination hall.
