NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will be conducting the CA Foundation (CA Foundation) January 2025 exam from today. Candidates will have to carry the ICAI CA admit card to the exam centre to be allowed entry. The CA Foundation paper 1 will be conducted 2 pm to 5 pm.
The ICAI CA Foundation exam will carry descriptive-cum-objective type questions. The exam will be conducted thrice in a year in the months of May-June, September, and January. Candidates will have an option to write the exam in Hindi or in English. However, only those who have clearly exercised the language option during the registration process will be allowed to avail the facility.
The CA Foundation January 2025 exam will be held for accounting, business laws, quantitative aptitude, business mathematics, logical reasoning, statistics, and business economics papers. The institute will conduct only the accounting paper today. Paper 2, 3, 4 will be held on January 14, 16, and 18.

Late entry up to 15 minutes will be permitted for all papers. However, candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the test concludes.

The CA Foundation January result 2025 will be declared in March 2025 on the official website, icai.nic.in. The statement of marks will be sent by post, soon after the declaration of result. Candidates securing a minimum of 70% marks will be declared “Pass with Distinction”.
