NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided not to charge CA students any condonation fee for practical training. The announcement has been made keeping in mind the problems that the students are facing while filling necessary forms due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequent nationwide lockdown. Since practical training will not be possible within the prescribed time, condonation fee has been dropped. The students will not be charged the said fee till June 30, 2020. If the transaction date in the application forms falls between March 1 to May 30, 2020, this period will include the time limit of one month that is generally prescribed.

CA 2020 exams have now been postponed to June and July. CA Foundation 2020 will be conducted on June 27, June 29, July 1 and July 3. CA Intermediate will be conducted from June 20 to July 4 and CA Final examinations will be conducted from June 19 to July 3, 2020.
In the last announcement, the Institute has informed that online revision classes will be conducted for CA students from April 22, 2020. The schedule dates upto May 25, 2020. No fee will be charged for ICAI online classes.
