ICAR AIEEA PG, AICE PhD exam today; check guidelines to follow

Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card and follow them during the conduct of the exam.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the All India Entrance Examination for Admission Postgraduate (AIEEA PG) 2023 and All India Competitive Examinations (AICE) JRF or SRF (PhD) 2023 exam today. Candidates appearing for the exam need to carry their admit card to the exam hall which can be downloaded from the official website – icar.nta.nic.in.

Along with the ICAR AIEEA PG admit card 2023 and AICE JRF admit card 2023, candidates also need to have valid ID proof. The admit card includes the candidate's details, exam centre details and important exam day instructions.

As per the ICAR AIEEA PG, AICE PhD paper pattern, the exam will be held as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for a duration of two hours. There will be a total of 120 multiple-choice questions. For each correct response 4 marks will be awarded, (-1) mark for each incorrect response and (0) for non-attempt questions.

  • Candidates must carry the admit card and a valid ID proof to the exam hall.
  • The candidates shall report at the examination centre at the time indicated on their respective admit cards.
  • Registration desk will close 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination centre after the gate closing time indicated on the admit card.
  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
  • Candidates must show, on demand, the admit card for admission to the examination hall.
  • Candidates found to have changed hall or the seat on his or her own other than allotted would be considered as a case of unfair means and the candidature will be cancelled.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any baggage inside the examination centre.
  • No candidate, without the special permission of the centre superintendent or the invigilator concerned, will leave the exam hall until the full duration of the paper is over.
  • Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as instructed by the centre superintendent or invigilators.
  • Candidates should not leave the hall without handing over their rough sheets to the Invigilator on duty.
  • Candidates should not be in possession of any material listed in the list of prohibited materials.
  • All calculations or writing work are to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centre of the exam hall.
  • Candidates must sign and paste the photograph on the attendance sheet at the appropriate place.
