ICFAI University Raipur holds first convocation; confers degrees on 452 UG, PG, diploma students

ICFAI University Raipur presented 33 Gold medals and 33 silver medals to meritorious students of who have graduated in 2018 to 2021 session.
NEW DELHI: ICFAI University, Raipur held its first convocation ceremony today, October 14, 2022 at MAYFARE Lake Resort, New Raipur. During the ceremony, 452 undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma students were awarded with degrees. The university also presented 33 gold medals and 33 silver medals to meritorious students.
Anusuiya Uikey, Governor of Chhattisgarh attended the convocation ceremony as the chief guest. She congratulated the new graduates and asked them to make the best use of their knowledge to attain professional success. She also said that ICFAI University Raipur is one of the most prestigious institutes in the country known for imparting quality education in engineering and technology for many years.

Professor R P Kaushik (Chancellor), Former Indian Ambassdor to Turkmenistan; A S Kiran Kumar, former Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO); Colonel Umesh Mishra, Chairman, Niji Vishwavidhyalay Viniyamakayog, Chhattisgarh; Professor Satya Prakash Dubey, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University, Raipur, governing body members, chairpersons, dignitaries along with graduating students and their parents attended the event.
Delivering the convocation address, university vice chancellor Dubey stated that graduates are bestowed with additional responsibilities to shape the future and to serve the nation with innovations and bring change as they are not merely a part of alumni but the torchbearers and the ambassadors of the institute.
