CMA Foundation December 2022 exam begins today; admit card, guidelines

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) will conduct the CMA Foundation exam for December session 2022 today. The CMA Foundation admit card for the rescheduled exam was released on the official website, icmai.in. Candidates will have to produce the CMA Foundation admit card.

The ICMAI had earlier announced to hold the CMA Foundation exam on January 13. However, due to technical issues faced by the students the institute announced the rescheduled CMA Foundation exam dates. The retest will be held on January 21 and 23.

As per the CMA Foundation syllabus 2022, there are a total of four papers. These are fundamentals of economics and management; fundamentals of accounting; fundamentals of laws and ethics; and, fundamentals of business mathematics and statistics.

CMA Foundation paper 1 and 2 will consist of 200 marks and will be held from 10 AM to 12 noon. Paper 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2 PM to 4 PM.

CMA Foundation exam guidelines

Candidates will have to follow the guidelines announced by the ICMAI on the exam day for a smooth conduct.

• Each paper will carry 100 marks and 50 multiple choice questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and each session will have a total of 100 MCQs of 200 marks.
• All candidates are encouraged to appear in the Foundation exam through online mode using mobile, laptop, desktop, tab from their home.
• Students are requested to appear the CMA Foundation exam from their home only by logging within the time span given. Login credentials and URL link will be given in due time.
• It may be noted that if any candidate gets disconnected while taking the examination, they may login again in the same device to finish the rest of the examination.
• A candidate who is completes all conditions for appearing in the examination as per regulations will only be allowed to appear for the exam.

How to download CMA Foundation admit card

Students will have to mandatorily carry admit cards to appear for the CMA Foundation exam.

• Visit the ICMAI official website, icmai.in
• Click on the admission tab on the homepage.
• Now, click on the admit card on the side menu.
• “Admit Card of rescheduled Foundation Examination of December 2022 Term” link will be displayed.
• Click on the CMA Foundation admit card download link
• Enter registration number and login.
• CMA Foundation admit card 2022 will be displayed.
