ICMAI Exam 2020: CMA Intermediate & final exam to be conducted in Online Mode

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has announced that CMA Intermediate and CMA final will be held in online mode. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, the merged examinations for ICMAI exam date, June 2020 and December 2020 will be held as per the following options

1. Center-based Online Mode

2. Home-based Online Mode

3. Opt-out from the exam (Transfer to next term)

Students appearing for ICMAI December 2020 exam will have to sit for an online mode of exam either from their home or from an exam center. The time table has already been notified on the website @icmai.in.

To select the mode of Centre-based or Home-based mode, candidates have to login by entering their registration credentials.

Candidates will have to fill required information about their system, internet bandwidth, power etc.

In case any candidates fail to provide the mentioned details will be automatically granted centre-based online examination.

Students are advised to provide the current contact details including mobile number and email-id while selecting any option of online mode examination or for opting out (next term option).

1. The last date for filling up the required credentials is November 12, 2020.

2. On selection of home-based online mode, the candidates must provide their credentials on the above link to receive login-details and password on their registered email id and mobile number. Any technical failure like internet connectivity or problem with PC or Laptop or tablet will be the responsibility of the candidate and the institute won’t be held responsible for it.

3. On selection of centre-based online exam mode, the candidates can appear in their selected examination centre for ICMAI exam Dec 2020. Details will be provided on the admit card. Blank sheets and other facilities will be available at the center.

4. ICMAI will share the login credentials and passkey for CMA Mock Test on registered email-d and mobile through SMS.

5. Once, the candidates have chosen an option for online mode or the Opt-out option, no request for change will be entertained.

ICMAI CMA Exam Pattern 2020 for Final and Intermediate

• The question papers will consist of both MCQ’s and Descriptive type of questions.

• There will be no negative marking for incorrect response.

• There will be two alternative questions in all question papers.
