NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the CS Executive and Professional exams for the June 2024 session from June 1 to June 10. The ICSI CS Professional, Executive registrations June 2024 will begin from February 26, the institute informed.

ICSI informed about the CS June 2024 exam date while announcing the result date for December 2023 exams. “Next Examination for Executive Programme (Syllabus 2017 & Syllabus 2022) and Professional Programme (Syllabus 20l7 & Syllabus 2022) will be held from Ist June, 2024 to 10th June, 2024 for which online Examination enrollment form together with the requisite Examination fee shall be submitted from 26th February, 2024,” the institute said.

In December last year, the institute added 15 extra minutes to each paper in order to let students read the questions first. The changes in exam pattern were introduced in the recently held exams.

ICSI had revised the curriculum for CS and released the new CS syllabus in September last year. The first exam of CS Professional students registered under the new syllabus will be conducted in June 2024.

Under the new syllabus, the question paper will include case-based studies and objective type questions carrying 20 marks. Moreover, ICSI introduced digital evaluation of CS papers from last year’s June attempt wherein around 80,000 copies were shared with evaluators online and checked.

Students who appeared for June exams had alleged foul play in the declaration of results. The candidates alleged that they were marked zero or one in some questions despite having proper answers. They took the issue to social media following which ICSI threatened the students with ‘disciplinary action’ for defaming the institute.
