ICSI declares CS Foundation 2019 result; 387 candidates feature in merit list

New Delhi, July 25: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the result of ICSI CS Foundation 2019 June session on July 25, on its official website icsi.edu. The result has been released in online mode. To check the result of CS Foundation 2019, candidates have to enter their roll number and registration ID in the log in window. CS Foundation result reflects paper-wise breakup of marks scored by the candidates who had taken the test. Only those candidates have been declared qualified in the exam who have secured at least 40 percent marks in each paper and 50 percent overall marks in the test, which is the minimum passing marks. Further, the qualified candidates have to appear for the subsequent level of exam, i.e. CS Executive.
Along with the result of CS Foundation, the authorities have also released the merit list for the same. According to the merit list of CS Foundation 2019 for June session, 387 candidates have been able to secure a rank for themselves in the merit list. The CS Foundation merit list contains roll numbers, ranks and names of the top 25 rank holders in the exam. It must be noted that multiple candidates have secured the same rank in CS Foundation exam.
Through the result, candidates can know their name, roll number, passing status, subject-wise and total marks. Along with these details, the result will also reflect the programme and session of the exam.
According to the procedure, the qualified candidates of CS Foundation 2019 will now have to enroll for the CS Executive exam, which will take place in 2020.
ICSI conducts CS Foundation examination every year, in two sessions - June and December. The exam is held in computer based mode for company secretaryship. The three-staged process to become a company secratry include appearing and qualifying Foundation, Executive and Professional Exams.
