ICSI to hold CS Professional exam under new syllabus in June 2024, offers option to switchover

Students who have registered under CS Professional new syllabus 2022 will have to complete a pre-exam test before enrolling for the CS Main.

Free DownloadNEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) new syllabus for CS Professional programme registration will be effective from August 1, 2023. First examination under ICSI new syllabus 2022 for professional programme students will be conducted in June 2024.
Students who have registered till July 31 will be assessed under the old syllabus -2017 and those registered on or after August 1 will be examined under new syllabus 2022. However, those students who have registered under the old syllabus 2017 will be able to apply for switchover. They will also be required to pay pretest fee again under syllabus 2022.
The activation of switchover will be done on November 21, the institute said. The last attempt for appearing under syllabus 2017 syllabus is December 2024, it said.
Students who have taken registration under CS Professional new syllabus 2022 will have to complete a pre-exam test before enrolling for the CS Main examinations, it said.
