IGNOU announces admissions to MA Development Studies programme; Apply by January 15

New Delhi, December 8 : Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for its MA in Development Studies programme for the January 2019 session. Candidates who wish to seek admissions into the programmes can do fill the application form until January 15, 2019, which is the last date to register for the postgraduate programme and submit the IGNOU 2019 MA application form.
As per the official notice released by the university, the following candidates can apply for the programme- fresh graduates looking to establish their career as development professionals, development functionaries, employees of development institutes, research organizations and NGOs.
How to apply for IGNOU MA Development Studies Registration (January 2019 Session)
Candidates will need to visit the official website and click on ‘register yourself’ button. After clicking on the registration link, candidates will be asked to fill the registration form and click on ‘submit’ button. Afterwards, the candidate will receive login credentials including username and password. Candidates will have to login and apply for MA Development Studies programme using the credentials. During filling the IGNOU January 2019 application form for MA Development Studies, candidates will also need to upload all the necessary documents. Before submitting the IGNOU 2019 MA application form, candidates will also need to remit the application fee in online mode.

The programme aims to teach students about various aspects of development studies and develop their professional skills in formulation, implementation, and evaluation of development programmes. After completing this programme, candidates can secure jobs in the development sector.
