IGNOU to conduct campus placement drive in collaboration with SBI Life Insurance

IGNOU Campus Placement Cell: The placement drive will be held on February 11, 2025, at the IGNOU Campus Convention Centre.
NEW DELHI : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Campus Placement Cell has announced a campus placement drive in partnership with SBI Life Insurance Co Ltd. The IGNOU placement drive aims to offer career opportunities to eligible candidates. The place drive will be held on February 11, 2025, at the Convention Centre of IGNOU Campus.
According to the IGNOU official statement, the placement reporting and registration will begin at 9:30 am till 10:30 am and the prep-placement talk will start at 11 am. The positions available for candidates are unit manager and business development manager for permanent employment.
The key skills required for vacancies available are sales planning, customer relationship management, and effective communication. The key responsibilities include getting familiar with all products and services offered by SBI Life Insurance and Procuring new clients through direct contact and collaboration between Life Mitra and bankers (CFIs).
As per the IGNOU official statement, the candidates will be offered a fixed CTC of Rs 2.85 lakhs per annum. Eligible graduates having sales experience will be given preference. The age criteria is between 21 to 20 years. The work location will be based in Delhi NCR region. Candidates will be selected based on group discussion and personal interview rounds.

IGNOU Campus Placement Drive: Instructions for applicants
Candidates planning to appear for the IGNOU Campus placement drive must follow the instructions given and check the other requirements for the placement drive.
- Pre-placement talk : A brief introductory session highlighting the company profile, job roles, and compensation details will be conducted at 11 am.
- Mandatory documents to carry : Two copies of updated resume, IGNOU ID Card (two copies), two passport-size color photographs, SSC, HSC, and graduation, post-graduation mark sheets and degree, provisional certificates, Appointment letter, and last 3 months' salary slips (if experienced) and lastly, PAN Card and Aadhaar Card
- Dress Code : Formal attire is mandatory for candidates.
- Late Arrivals : Candidates reporting after 11 am will not be allowed to participate in the placement drive.
- Extended duration : The selection process may continue till late evening; applicants are advised to plan accordingly.
