IGNOU introduces PG Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility
The last date to apply for IGNOU PG Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility programme is February 28.
NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University has announced a new postgraduate diploma programme in Corporate Social Responsibility (PGDCSR). The programme will be offered by IGNOU starting from January 2021 session.
Candidates who wish to take admission in the PG Diploma can register themselves by visiting the online admission portal - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The last date to register for IGNOU PG Diploma in CSR programme is February 28.
Any candidate who has completed his or her graduation from a recognized university is eligible for admission to IGNOU PG Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
The duration of the programme is one year and the admission is valid for three years. The medium of instruction will be English. The PG Diploma programme will be offered in both January and July sessions. The total fee for the programme is Rs 7,000.
The objective of the programme is to impart knowledge and understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility. It also helps in developing professional knowledge in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CSR projects and programmes.
Speaking about the PG Diploma programme, programme coordinators, Dr Nisha Varghese and Prof PVK Sasidhar said, “PGDCSR is a very appropriate programme in ODL mode both in terms of content and timing. It provides a unique opportunity for attaining and upgrading the knowledge of CSR professionals. Students can also get the first-hand experience of CSR projects by opting for project work.”
