IGNOU announces placement drive for graduates, 12th-pass students; over 200 roles across sectors

IGNOU Job Fair 2026: The placement drive will see participation from a diverse range of recruiters, offering over 200 positions across EdTech, aviation, hospitality, services, and NGO sectors.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organise a campus placement drive 2026 on April 29 for Class 12th pass students, fresh graduates, final semester candidates, and experienced professionals. Registration for IGNOU’s mega job fair is now open. Eligible candidates can apply for the job hunt through the official website at ignou.ac.in.
The job fair will see participation from a diverse range of recruiters, offering over 200 positions across EdTech, aviation, hospitality, services, and NGO sectors.
More than a thousand students are expected to take part in the IGNOU’s single-day placement drive, scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 10 am at the BR Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU HQ, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.
IGNOU Placement Drive 2026: Eligibility, documents
Fresh graduates, final semester students, pass-outs, and experienced professionals are eligible to take part in the IGNOU’s placement drive.
Moreover, graduates from streams such as BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, MCom, and PG diploma, as well as those with Class 12 pass qualification only can apply for the IGNOU’s mega placement drive.
Candidates should have to bring at least two copies of an update CV, a government-issued ID or IGNOU I-Card, passport-size photographs, educational certificates, and experience letters if applicable at the venue.
“This is not just a placement drive — for thousands of IGNOU learners who have balanced jobs, families, and studies through distance education, it is a moment of validation. Wednesday, April 29 could well be the day their degrees finally open the door they've been knocking on,” IGNOU said in an official statement.

IGNOU Campus Drive 2026: Recruiters, salary package
The placement drive for the IGNOU students will be held on April 29, and will see participation from various recruiters, offering different packages.
- SarrthiIAS: The UPSC coaching platform will offer 25 positions across several domains, including sales manager, video editor, graphic designer, and director of photography. The salary range for these vacancies will be from Rs 3 to 3.84 LPA and the job location will be Noida Sector 62.
- Birds Flight Pvt Ltd: The aviation company will recruit up to 60 customer service agents and hosts for Delhi airport operations for Rs 3.6 LPA.
- CII (Confederation of Indian Industry): This is IGNOU’s service arm, offering around 60 roles in customer support and admission counselling. The salary range for this role is from Rs 26,000 to Rs 35,000 per month.
- YS Hospitality: It is looking for candidates on a permanent, on-roll basis for sales and operations and marketing roles in Gurgaon.
- Gupteshwar Samiti: It's an NGO, offering “earn-while-you-learn” style-roles such as data entry operators and chef trainees with free accommodation and food during training. It is offering salary of RS 15,000 upon completion.
