IGNOU July 2025 re-registration deadline extends to September 30 with late fee

IGNOU July 2025 Admission: Candidates will have to pay a late fee of Rs 200 to register for the ODL and online programmes.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for re-registration for the July 2025 session. Candidates seeking admission to programmes offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes can now submit their re-registration forms till September 30, 2025.
Candidates are required to pay a late fee of Rs 200 to register for the ODL and online programmes through the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The extension has been approved by the university’s Competent Authority and applies to all programmes across ODL and online platforms.
“The last date for July, 2025 Re-registration has been extended till 30th September 2025 with late fee of Rs. 200/- for all Programmes offered in ODL and Online mode. This is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority,” the official notice said.
The IGNOU has also extended the last date for fresh admission for the July 2025 session till September 30, 2025. The extension applies to all notified programmes except semester-based and certificate programmes.
Candidates should complete the admission process within the revised deadline to secure a place in their chosen programme. The IGNOU July 2025 registration fee is Rs 2,000 for all category candidates.
