IGNOU July Admission 2024: Registration begins for online, ODL courses

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun the registration process for July admission 2024. Eligible candidates can register for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes through the official portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and for the online programmes, ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

The last date to fill out the IGNOU July admission form 2024 is June 30. The university provides admission for various master's, bachelor's, postgraduation diplomas, diplomas, postgraduation certificates, and certificate programmes.

"The July 2024 fresh-admission cycle for UG, PG, PG diloma, diploma, certificate and awareness programme offered through ODL and online mode has commenced," IGNOU said on X.

IGNOU July Admission 2024: Documents required

Candidates should upload scanned copies of the following documents while applying for the IGNOU ODL, Online programmes:

• Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)

• Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)

• Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)

• Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)

• Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)

According to the university's refund policy, if a candidate cancels their application before admission confirmation, they are eligible for a full refund of the program fee. If the cancellation occurs within 15 days after confirmation, the refund will be issued after deducting Rs 500. For cancellations within 16-90 days, a deduction of Rs 1,000 will apply before issuing the refund. No refunds will be provided beyond 90 days of the cancellation notification.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to register for IGNOU July admission 2024.

• Visit the official website, ignou.ac.in.

• On the homepage, look for the “July Admission 2024” link.

• A new page will open where candidates get online and ODL programme links.

• Now, fill out the application form as per the programme and pay the application fees.

• Download the form and take a printout of the same for further reference.
