IGNOU July admissions open till July 31; June TEE practical date sheet out

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for fresh admissions to July 2026 admission cycle. Eligible candidates can get themselves registered for all notified programmes offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode till July 31, 2026.

Candidates seeking admission to ODL programmes can submit their applications at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Those applying for online programmes can register through ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. They are advised to keep their APAAR ID ready before applying online. Candidates facing issues while creating an APAAR ID can use the support link available on portal.

The university has also informed that eligible students can apply for Government of India scholarships through National Scholarship Portal after their admission is confirmed.

Some specialised programmes, including the PG Certificate in Medical Management of CBRNE Disasters (PGCMDM) and certificates in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion (Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment and Intellectual Disability), are available through a separate admission portal.

The university has also announced the datesheet for term end practical examination. The term end practical examination will be conducted through offline mode.

The Term End Practical Examination for MSEL032, MSEL037 and MSEP038 will be conducted through virtual mode via Google Meet. Learners are requested to check their name, enrollment number, date and time.

The datesheet notice reads, "Those learners whose name is not mentioned in the practical exam schedule they can contact RC DELHI-1 for approval of the same and after getting the proper approval they will be allowed to give their practical exam on the respective date preferably in the last batch."
