NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new Certificate Programme in Mobile Application Development (CMAD). According to IGNOU officials, the programme will be offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
This programme is designed to provide students an in-depth knowledge about developing Mobile APPS.
In order to apply for the course, the aspirants must have passed 10+2 or 10th standard with 2 or 3 years diploma (or its equivalent). The medium of instruction for the course is English.
The duration of this programme will be 6 months. The course fee for 6 months is Rs. 5000. However, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 5200 (Rs. 5000 annual fee+Rs. 200 as programme fee).
As per the official notice, “Each course will have two components Assignment and Term End Examination respectively. If the course is having only Theory Counseling Sessions, then there will be two components, namely, Assignment and Term End Examination (Theory). If the Course is having only Practical Counseling Sessions, then there will be two components, namely, Assignment, Term End Examination (Practical)".
