IGNOU Post-Basic BSc nursing registrations will be done online till March 30, 2021. The exam will be in offline mode with 120 multiple choice questions.

Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi will conduct the exam for Post Basic Nursing Programme for the January session on April 11, 2021. IGNOU Post-basic BSc nursing registration can be done at ignounursing.samarth.edu.in/index.php till March 30, 2021. Eligible candidates are advised to read the IGNOU Post Basic Nursing Programme information brochure carefully before applying for the exam.

Who can apply for IGNOU Post Basic Nursing Programme?
Aspirants who wish to apply for IGNOU Post Basic Nursing Programme for January 2021 session must check the eligibility criteria before applying.

In-service Nurses i.e. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession are eligible to apply.

Or, In-service Nurses (RNRM) who passed Class 10 or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession.

Male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme but hold a certificate in any of the Nursing courses of six to nine months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery can also apply.

Reservation policy including EWS as per Government of India Rules.

There is no maximum age limit to apply for admission
