NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 2:
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, successfully conducted its annual national-level MBA entrance exam IIFT 2019 on Sunday, December 2, 2018, in a single slot (10 AM- 12 noon). Being administered across 20 cities of the country, around 60,000 candidates appeared for the paper-pencil based examination. The institute, IIFT conducts the exam for granting admission to its two-year full-time residential MBA in International Business programme in its Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada campuses offering around 500 seats.
IIFT was conducted in offline mode where candidates had to mark their answers in the OMR sheet provided by the officials. As per the exam pattern of IIFT 2019, there were multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from six sections, namely Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the test was two hours.
Test takers were not allowed to carry mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, drawing instruments, or any reading material. They were permitted to carry their IIFT admit card, HB pencils, eraser, sharpener, and ball-point pen with them. No candidate was allowed to enter the exam centre after 10 AM.
Along with the admit card, candidates had to produce a photo identity proof like Aadhar Card - UIDAI/Pan Card/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Passport. For a change of name, they had to show valid evidence such as an affidavit, marriage certificate which has approved and recognised by the government.
IIFT Result 2019
The result of IIFT 2019 will be announced in the first week of January 2019. Test takers would be able to download their IIFT 2019 result or scorecard online. Post result declaration, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for PI, WAT and GD rounds. Last year, over 1500 test takers were shortlisted for the selection rounds.
