IIFT launches MBA in Business Analytics programme starting from 2023-25 session

IIFT will commence registration for MBA programme likely in the second week of December at iift.ac.in.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has launched a two-year non-residential MBA in Business Analytics programme starting from the 2023-25 academic year at its Delhi campus. There are a total of 60 seats in the programme. IIFT will publish the information brochure and start the registration process likely in the second week of December 2022 on the official website – iift.ac.in.

“The programme will provide a synergy to the existing MBA programme in international business as students from both streams will benefit from a vast pool of courses that will be offered. Both the MBA programmes will stand independently and mutually benefit each other,” read an official statement from IIFT.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 5 CGPA out of 10. The student should have mathematics/ statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. OR
  • Candidates must hold BTech / BE degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate or 5 CGPA out of 10. OR
  • The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 5 CGPA out of 10, with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level. Applied mathematics in 10+2 will not be considered.

Selection process

For short-listing/selecting the candidates, IIFT will use the score of MBA (IB) entrance examination to be conducted on December 18, 2022 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates having valid GMAT Score are also eligible.

The institute will offer admission based on the score obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination or GMAT score, performance in extempore and personal interview, academic performance in Class 10 and 12 and work experience. The institute will also give some weightage to female candidates to bring in gender diversity in the programme.
