After an off-campus in Gujarat’s GIFT City, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is now going to start an international campus in Dubai, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and no objection from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and home ministry.
Sharing the update, education ministry posted on X, “IIFT New Delhi goes global! With the NoC from MEA, HMO, and UGC, Ministry of Education approves IIFT’s off-shore campus in Dubai, UAE.”

IIFT off-shore campus will be established in India Pavilion at Expo City in United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s Dubai. The permission is subject to certain conditions such as obtaining approval for financial stability, following admission criteria, curriculum, exam and evaluation system.
“Considering the NOC of MEA, MHA & UGC, the Ministry hereby conveys its approval to Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi for establishment of an off-shore campus in Dubai, UAE,” the ministry stated.
