IIHMR 39th Foundation Day: The School of Digital Health will offer a full-time, two-year MBA program in Healthcare Analytics.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) Jaipur celebrated its 39th Foundation Day on October 5, 2023. The event also marked the announcement of the School of Digital Health by PR Sodani, IIHMR University.
The School of Digital Health will prepare next-generation leaders. The School of Digital Health will offer a full-time, two-year MBA program in Healthcare Analytics. The School will also offer a Certificate Course on Digital Health. The program also featured the unveiling of the brochure for the School of Digital Health.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom, followed by the felicitation of distinguished dignitaries. Saraswati Vandana, a traditional invocation to the goddess of knowledge, set a spiritual tone for the event.
Dr. P.R. Sodani, President of IIHMR University delivered a heartfelt Welcome Address, reflecting on the institution's humble beginnings and its remarkable journey filled with growth and development leading to a hub for health management education and research. Dr. Sodani emphasised the role of alumni in achieving the mission of the institute. Distinguished Alumni Awards were presented to Dr. Sheenu Jhawar, Director, Apex Hospitals and Mr. Mahipal Singh Bhanot, Business Head-NCR, Fortis Hospital for their significant contribution in healthcare.
Ashok Agarwal, Trustee of IIHMR, shared his experience of establishing such a unique institution in 1984 and its journey so far. He emphasized his approach of engaging individuals in a shared cause.
SD Gupta, Trustee-Secretary of IIHMR said, "Our journey from 1984 to today has been nothing short of extraordinary. We have witnessed the transformation of healthcare, and our alumni have been instrumental in shaping it. With the launch of the School of Digital Health, we continue to lead the way in healthcare education."
The showcased cultural performances by the students of IIHMR University. Concluding the memorable evening, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dean of IHMR at IIHMR University, extended a warm and sincere Vote of Thanks, expressing profound gratitude to all participants who made the event truly remarkable.
