NEW DELHI: International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has announced that the Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) 2025 will be held on April 19, 2025, for admission to its dual degree programmes in BTech and Master of Science by Research. Candidates can apply for the entrance test through the official website at ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in.

Applicants can register for the entrance examination for admission to the IIIT Hyderabad’s five-year dual degree courses through the official website by using a login ID and password.
The institute will conduct the UGEE 2025 in a single shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The registration for the exam commenced yesterday and the last date to apply for the entrance exam is March 23. The admit cards for UGEE 2025 will be available to download tentatively on March 13.
Candidates, who will clear Class 12 board exams in Maths, Physics and Chemistry by June 2025 are eligible to write the UGEE 2025.
The application fee for male candidates is Rs 3,000 and for female aspirants, the fee is Rs 1,500. The registration fee is non-refundable.
The UGEE 2025 will be conducted in a computer-based mode and the duration of the entrance exam will be three hours. There will be two sections in the exam, including the Subject Proficiency test (SUPR) and Research Aptitude test (REAP) and the time given for each test will be 60 and 120 minutes respectively.
There will be a negative marking of 25% in both sections and candidates will be shortlisted and called for the interview based on their SUPR score and REAP rank.
