Anant National University opens admissions for BTech in Climate Change

The online application process for the 2025-29 batch has begun. Students can apply through the official website at anu.edu.in.

NEW DELHI: The Anant National University's (ANU) Anant School for Climate Action has opened admission for a four-year BTech in Climate Change for the academic year 2025-29. Eligible students can apply for the programme through the official website, anu.edu.in.

"Designed to address the urgent challenges of climate change, the BTech in Climate Change prepares students for the rapidly expanding global climate industry, valued at $23 trillion." the ANU statement said.

The BTech programme in climate change offers students an opportunity to develop and apply technology solutions to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

“Students can learn to use engineering tools and design thinking principles with practical application-oriented learning at Anant’s Climate Lab, within industry, government, and research laboratories for creating technology solutions for climate change.” the ANU statement said.

To pursue the programme students must have passed their Class 12 exams in physics, chemistry, maths along with one of the following subjects computer science, electronics, IT, Biology, informatics practices, biotechnology, technical vocational subjects, agriculture, engineering, graphics, business studies, and entrepreneurship subjects

BTech in Climate Change

The BTech programme in Climate Change curriculum is designed to provide improvement across eight climate technology streams including climate simulation, engineering mathematics, environmental engineering, etc., and applied research throughout the first six semesters. The final two semesters will be focused on specialisation, allowing students to take specialised courses that lead to complete industry involvement.

ANU also offers internship opportunities to all its students ensuring they get proper industry experience. A few students have interned at companies like Tech Mahindra, Johnson Controls Hitachi, the Commonwealth Secretariat and Sustain Labs Paris.
