IIIT Hyderabad launches online MS programme in IT on Coursera; eligibility, fee details

Predict NowNEW DELHI: The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH) is introducing an online master of Science in Information Technology (eMSIT) on Coursera. The registration process has already begun, and the last date to apply is April 22. This marks the debut of a master's degree program from an Indian university on Coursera. The classes are expected to begin on 22 July 2024.

The curriculum includes hands-on projects, areas of specialization in data science, full stack development, and machine learning, as well as exposure to AI technologies like ChatGPT and Copilot. Students will also have access to experienced teaching assistants and periodic meetings with experienced business professionals.

IIIT Hyderabad MSIT Programme 2024: Eligibility
To apply and enroll in the programme, students are required to have completed 16 years of formal education. Students are required to meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Four years of bachelor's or undergraduate studies in STEM subjects.

Final-year students completing a four-year bachelor's or undergraduate degree program in STEM subjects and are expected to graduate before July 2024 can also apply.

3 years bachelor's or undergraduate in STEM subjects + any PG diploma or Master's
-
3-year bachelor's in any discipline + PG diploma or master's in STEM fields.

IIIT Hyderabad MSIT Programme 2024: Fee details
There are no application or registration fees for MSIT programme. The total tuition fee is Rs 2,56,000 INR ($3,200 USD). The tuition fee will be divided equally over eight terms (12 weeks each) and to be paid before each term.
