IIIT Hyderabad PGEE 2025 registration deadline extended to March 31 for MTech, MS, PhD admission

Predict NowNEW DELHI: The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has extended the last date to register for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) 2025. Candidates can now submit their PGEE 2025 applications till March 31 through the official website at pgadmissions.iiit.ac.in.

Earlier, the last date to fill out the IIIT Hyderabad PGEE 2025 application form was March 26, 2025. To register for the PGEE 2025, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 3,000. As per the official website, Nationals of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries are eligible for the PGEE and will be treated at par with Indian nationals.
PGEE 2025 is conducted for candidates seeking admission to Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MS), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes at the IIIT Hyderabad. Admission for MTech programmes is solely based on the written exam, which involves general aptitude and subject tests. Whereas, MS and PhD applicants are required to appear for an additional interview process.
IIITH PGEE 2025 exam dates
The IIIT Hyderabad PGEE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on April 19 from 2 pm to 5 pm. The on-campus interview for the master of science will take place on June 10 and June 11, while PhD interviews are scheduled for June 12 and June 13, 2025. The institute will issue the IIITH PGEE admit card 2025 10 days before the exam date.

To be eligible for PGEE 2025, candidates must have a minimum of 60% or an equivalent grade in their qualifying degree for admission to all the programmes listed in the table below.
