IIIT Naya Raipur starts B.Tech 2020 applications

IIIT Naya Raipur has started the application process for its B.Tech programs for the year 2020. Interested candidates can now apply online through the official website for admissions till October 15. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria set by IIIT Naya Raipur for its B.Tech courses. At present, the institute is offering 3 B.Tech programs.

• Application submission start date: September 16, 2020 (for Chhattisgarh and NTPC quota)

• Last Date of Applying: October 15, 2020

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to get admission at IIIT Naya Raipur must fulfill all the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Admission to B.Tech. programs offered by IIIT Naya Raipur is based on JEE Main ranks. There are three different categories through which students are admitted:

All India Quota (35% seats amounting to 63 seats: 21 in CSE, 21 in ECE and 21 in DSAI): Candidates who completed their school education from any part of India belong to this category. Their eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA 2020. Admissions will be based on JEE Main 2020 rank. Candidates seeking admission under this Quota must apply through JoSAA.

NTPC Quota (15% Seats amounting to 27 seats: 9 in CSE, 9 in ECE and 9 in DSAI): Candidates employed with NTPC or their wards who completed their school education from any part of India belong to this category. Admissions will be based on JEE Main 2020 rank. All reservations will be as per Government of India norms.

Chhattisgarh State Quota (50% Seats amounting to 90 seats: 30 in CSE, 30 in ECE and 30 in DSAI):

• Candidates who passed both 10th and 12th standard examinations from schools situated in the State of Chhattisgarh belong to this category.

• Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) in their 12th standard examination.

• Admissions will be based on JEE Main 2020 rank. The reservation for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories shall be as per Chhattisgarh Government norms.

Additionally, one supernumerary seat each is available for Kashmiri Migrants in CSE, ECE and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence programs.

• B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
