IIITH PGEE 2024 registration deadline extended till April 5; application fee, exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad has extended the IIITH Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) 2024 registration deadline. Candidates can now apply for IIITH PGEE 2024 till April 5. Earlier the last date to apply for IIITH PGEE 2024 was April 1. Candidates can fill out the IIITH PGEE 2024 application form by visiting the official website, pgadmissions.iiit.ac.in.
Admission for MTech programmes is solely based on the written exam which involves general aptitude and subject tests. Whereas, MS and PhD applicants are required to appear for an additional interview process. The IIITH PGEE 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm. The interview for master of science will be held on June 5 and 6. On the other hand, the interview for PhD is scheduled to be held on June 7 and 8. The IIITH PGEE 2024 application fee is 2,500 for every candidate.
IIITH PGEE 2024 exam pattern
The IIITH PGEE 2024 exam will be held online in computer-based mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The exam will be divided into two papers- general aptitude and subject test. The general aptitude paper will comprise computer knowledge, reasoning and mathematics. The subject test will have questions based on the graduation discipline. There will be a negative marking of 25% for wrong answers in both papers. The duration of each paper in IIITH PGEE 2024 is 90 minutes.

- Visit the official website, pgadmissions.iiit.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on PGEE 2024.
- Next, click on the link that reads “ Admission open”
- Register with the required details.
- Fill up the application form.
- Upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit and save a copy for future use.
