IIM CAP 2024 registration deadline extended till January 31; apply at iimu.ac.in

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur (IIM) has extended the last date for the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024 registration from January 29 to January 31. Candidates will be able to submit the IIM CAP 2024 application form on the official website, cap2024.iimkashipurportal.org.

IIM Kashipur is coordinating IIM CAP 2024 for the 2024-26 academic year. Every year, the Common Admission Process (CAP) is conducted to shortlist and interview candidates for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) of IIMs participating in the CAP.

Till last year, nine IIMs had participated in CAP. With the addition of IIM Nagpur in 2024, the number of IIMs that are part of the CAP group increased to ten.

Each year, the CAP-participating IIMs announce a tentative cut-off for shortlisting candidates for Personal Interviews (PI) in October, and the final cut-off is decided based on the Common Admission Test (CAT) results. After the announcement of the CAT results this year, the cut-offs will be determined for shortlisting candidates for the PI process.

IIM CAP 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates registering for the IIM CAP should check the eligibility criteria for the CAP process 2024 below.

• Minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent in graduation and 45% for reserved category candidates.

• Candidates should also meet the qualifying CAT cut-off determined for IIM CAP colleges.

• The selection for the written ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI) will be based on the final CAT cut-off, which can be higher than the qualifying cut-off.

Steps to apply for IIM CAP 2024 registration form

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for IIM CAP 2024 registration form

• Visit the IIM CAP 2024 official website at cap2024.iimkashipurportal.org.

• Click on the “CAP 2024 IIM” link.

• Fill out the registration form by entering details such as name, email id, contact information.

• Log in by entering a valid CAT registration ID, password, and captcha code.

• Fill out the CAP application form, and upload relevant documents.

• Submit the registration form and take a printout for future reference.
