IIM CAT 2024 answer key challenge window closes today; how to raise objection?

Use NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has issued the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) answer key along with the response sheet for around 2.93 lakh candidates who appeared for the entrance exam. The last date to raise objections against the CAT official answer key through the portal, iimcat.ac.in, is today.
“Objection Management window opens on 3 December, 2024 at 06.00 PM and closes on 5 December, 2024 at 11.55 PM. Please be aware that this (https://iimcat.ac.in) is the only authentic website for CAT 2024, as has been publicly advertised, and there is no other website for information or registration/submission of the CAT 2024 application form,” the latest update read.
The IIM CAT 2024 exam was held in three sessions on November 24 in 389 exam centres across the country. Around 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 3.29 lakh registered applicants, and recorded an overall attendance of 89%.
As per the CAT question paper 2024 , the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section carried 24 questions, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA) had 22 questions each. Candidates will be allotted marks out of 68.

How to challenge CAT answer key 2024
Candidates will be able to challenge the IIM CAT answer key 2024 by following the instructions given below.
- Visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in 2024.
- Click on the CAT candidate login link given on the homepage.
- Key in your login ID and password in the given space.
- Find the ‘Objection’ link from the dashboard.
- Enter the correct question ID you wish to challenge and select the right answer.
- Proceed to submit supporting documents.
- Now, pay an objection fee of Rs 1,200 per question and submit.
- Review the challenges submitted and save it for future reference.
