NEW DELHI- Indian Institute of Management, Indore has begun the CAT exam registration in online mode. The last date to fill the CAT registration 2020 form is September 16. Before proceeding to fill the CAT exam 2020 registration form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria and also keep the necessary documents ready with them. Also they must have a valid email address and mobile number since all the communication pertaining to the CAT exam will be sent on the email and the mobile number provided.

According to the prescribed eligibility criteria for CAT 2020, candidates belonging to the general category must be graduates and should have scored at least t 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, while those who are from the reserved category must have scored at least 45% marks. Those candidates who are pursuing their graduation and are in their final year, they will also be eligible to apply for the CAT exam. However, such candidates will be offered admission provisionally and they would have later submit the requisite documents stating that they have completed their graduation with the requisite marks required to pursue MBA.

Step 2 - Now click on the new candidate registration tab and generate user if and password
Step 3 - Now login to the CAT 2020 website using the registered id and password
Step 4 - Fill the CAT exam registration form
Step 5 - Mention all the personal, academic, work experience related details
Step 6 - Choose the programme in which the candidates wants to seek admission
Step 7 - Select the cities where the candidate wants to appear for the interview
Step 8 - Choose the CAT test city according to preference
Step 9 - Pay the CAT 2020 registration fees according to the category
Step 10 - Download and take print out of the CAT 2020 application form
Note: This year candidates can choose at least six cities according to preference where they can appear for IIM CAT 2020 exam as compared to last year when they could choose only four cities.

About CAT exam 2020
The Common Admission Test is conducted on a rotational basis by the IIMs. The entrance exam will be conducted on November 29 in computer based mode and the score of the CAT exam will be valid till December 31, 2021. The CAT exam will be of three hours and there will be three sections. Questions will be asked from reading comprehension and verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability.
