IIM Kashipur conducts leadership development program for Max Healthcare
The leadership development programme includes modules on marketing, operations, accounting, information systems, and human resource management.

NEW DELHI: IIM Kashipur organized a leadership development program for Max Healthcare from September 2023 to January 2024. This programme aligned with IIM Kashipur's strategy to expand into sector-specific Management Development Programmes. The partnership with Max Healthcare emphasises the need for business and academics to construct leadership development programmes.
This programme includes modules on marketing, operations, accounting, information systems, and human resource management. The sessions were held at both Max Healthcare and the IIM Kashipur campus. 75 participants were in senior positions from various hospital units from Max Healthcare. Certificates were awarded to qualifying participants at the valedictory session, which was held on the IIM Kashipur campus.
Speaking on the event, Kunal Ganguly, dean of development, stated that this programme is a significant step forward for IIM Kashipur in diversifying its educational offerings and contributing to the healthcare industry.

Umesh Gupta, senior director and chief people officer of Max Healthcare, said that developing organisations, such as Max Healthcare, must increase collective leadership in order to grow in an increasingly complicated present and future. He further said, that having a learning attitude is an important part of developing your leadership abilities. The Max Leadership Development programme, in collaboration with IIM Kashipur, strives to personalise, contextualise, and socialise learning, empowering future leaders to realise their full potential and contribute to their own and the organization's growth trajectory.
PGEPHM Programme
Recently, IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare collaborated to offer a Post Graduate Executive Programme in Hospital Management (PGEPHM). The first in the series will be the Post Graduate Executive Programme in Hospital Management, which will be taught by professors from both IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare, with practical training at Max Hospitals. Both organisations also agreed to do research, seminars, and other academic collaboration.
