NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has started the admission process for the 18th batch of its Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management. This is a two-year blended MBA programme designed for working executives.
The launch of the new batch was followed by the convocation of the 15th batch, the largest so far, with a record 615 learners. The ceremony was attended by the Director of IIM Kozhikode, Debashis Chatterjee and the Indian Space Research Organisation chairman, V Narayanan.
The EPGP programme combines online interactive learning with campus modules. The programme combines online interactive learning with campus modules. Participants in earlier batches came from sectors such as IT, consulting, aerospace, banking, public sector, energy, automotive, FMCG, healthcare, e-commerce and manufacturing.
Their educational backgrounds included engineering, medicine, architecture, mass communication, law and fashion technology. Work experience ranged from three to 25 years. The previous batch had the highest number of women learners so far, with 26 percent representation.
The curriculum includes 750 hours of instruction through an interactive learning platform and three campus immersion modules. It covers core subjects such as accounting, marketing, operations, finance, strategy and human resources, as well as electives in international business, digital transformation and corporate accountability.
Admission to this programme involves the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) and a personal interview. Applicants also have the option to submit valid scores from the Common Admission Test (CAT), Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), provided the scores are not older than three years from the EMAT date.

Teaching methods include lectures, case studies, simulations, assignments, presentations and live projects. Participants will take part in three one-week campus immersions and gain access to IIM Kozhikode’s alumni network of more than 13,000 professionals.
