IIM Lucknow announces ‘Radhakrishnan Gopalan Young Faculty Researcher Award’
IIM Lucknow batch of 1996 initiated the award with an initial corpus of approximately Rs 75 lakhs and an annual award value of Rs 7 lakhs.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow announced the establishment of the Radhakrishnan Gopalan Young Faculty Researcher endowment, initiated by the IIM Lucknow Batch of 1996. The award aims to recognize and encourage young faculty researchers at IIM Lucknow.
The institutes said that the award has been established with an initial corpus of approximately Rs 75 lakhs and an annual award value of Rs 7,00,000.
At the inaugural ceremony, dean faculty, Ajay Garg welcomed the gathering and shared the details of the initiative. The IIM Lucknow director Archana Shukla congratulated the batch of 1996 for the initiative.

The event was attended by Ravi Thota and Satya from the IIM Lucknow 1996 batch along with other batchmates who joined online, including Nithya Easwaran, member of the board of governors at IIM Lucknow. Vijay Yerramilli,batchmate, co-author, and professor of finance at Houston, also shared his insights in the event.
An official statement from IIM Lucknow read, “ Additionally, we were privileged to have Radhakrishnan's brother, Jay Gopalan, present on this significant occasion. This endowment, with a tenure of eleven years, reflects our unwavering dedication to promoting research and academic achievement at IIM Lucknow.”

The institute applauded the IIM Lucknow batch of 1996 for its initiative in establishing the award, which recognizes academic excellence and empowers young faculty members to advance their research at IIM Lucknow.
“ We eagerly anticipate the achievements of the future recipients of the Radhakrishnan Gopalan Young Faculty Researcher Award. The award will be granted annually to a deserving faculty member who meets specific eligibility criteria. The Award will be announced on 25th September every year which happens to be the birthday of Radhakrishnan Gopalan” an official statement read.
